LeadOn Staffing is hiring 4–6 experienced Metal Assemblers for an established roofing, glazing, and metal manufacturing company in Mississauga.
This is a hands-on production role suited to candidates who have previous experience with metal assembly, fabrication, glazing, or related manufacturing work.
If you're comfortable working with hand and power tools, following production specifications, and working as part of a manufacturing team, this could be a great opportunity to take your experience to the next level.
What You'll Be Doing
Your responsibilities may include:
Assembling metal products, components, and related products
Performing assembly, fabrication, and glazing duties
Working with silicone guns, notch guns, and power tools
Measuring and positioning materials accurately
Following work orders, drawings, and production specifications
Ensuring components are properly fitted, aligned, and assembled
Inspecting completed work for quality and accuracy
Handling materials safely during the production process
Lifting and moving materials weighing up to approximately 50 lbs
Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
Performing other production-related duties as assigned
2–3 years of relevant Assembler/Metal Assembler experience in Canada
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Metal manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
Experience using hand and power tools
Comfortable using silicone guns and notch guns
Experience with assembly, fabrication, or glazing is an asset
Ability to read and follow work orders, drawings, and specifications
Strong attention to detail
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Comfortable lifting up to approximately 50 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Immigration Eligibility
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and have one of the following:
Valid Work Permit
Permanent Residency
Canadian Citizenship
Additional Requirements
Full-time availability
Monday to Friday availability
Ability to work 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Candidates living close to the Mississauga location are preferred
Own vehicle and valid driver's license are preferred
Must be available for client interview, hands-on assessment, and potential immediate start
CSA-approved safety shoes and safety mask are required
