Pay Rate: $27.00–$30.00 / hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision parts.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
- Set up tooling, fixtures, work offsets, and cutting tools.
- Make tool and offset adjustments as required during production.
- Inspect finished and in-process parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Monitor machine operation and maintain required dimensional accuracy and product quality.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and machine-related issues.
- Perform CNC program edits and adjustments when required.
- Follow production schedules and meet quality requirements.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and report equipment issues as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency in CNC programming using Mazatrol, Fanuc, or other control systems.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar for design interpretation.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting machining issues.
- Ability to use hand tools like calipers, power tools, and basic machining equipment effectively.
