LeadOn Staffing is building a fresh pool of reliable On-Call Warehouse Associates for a prominent distributor of toys, novelty products, and promotional merchandise in North York.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for flexible, short-term/on-call warehouse work where shifts are offered based on the client's operational requirements.

Important: This is an ON-CALL position, not a guaranteed Monday-Friday full-time schedule. You may receive 1-day, 2-day, 3-day or X-days shifts, depending on the client's needs. Most shifts are during weekdays, with Saturday work occurring only occasionally.

If you're dependable, physically fit, comfortable with hands-on warehouse work, and can consistently arrive on time for early morning shifts, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Depending on the day's workload, your responsibilities may include:

Loading & Unloading

• Assist with loading and unloading products and shipments.
• Move cartons and merchandise safely within the warehouse.
• Organize products in designated areas.
• Work with the warehouse team to keep receiving and shipping activities moving efficiently.

Sorting & Organization

• Sort toys, novelty items, promotional products, and other merchandise.
• Organize products according to instructions.
• Maintain orderly work areas and storage locations.
• Help prepare products for the next stage of warehouse operations.

Picking & Packing

• Pick products accurately based on assigned requirements.
• Pack products carefully for shipment.
• Check quantities and product information to help maintain order accuracy.
• Prepare completed orders for shipping or staging.

Inventory Support

• Assist with basic inventory activities.
• Count and organize products as required.
• Help identify quantity discrepancies or misplaced items.
• Maintain accuracy when handling and organizing merchandise.

General Warehouse Support

• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow instructions from warehouse supervisors and team leads.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse team members to complete daily targets.

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of specialized warehouse experience for this opportunity. We're looking for people who are reliable, punctual, physically capable, and ready to work.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform hands-on warehouse duties safely and efficiently.
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular movement and material handling.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, sort, pick, pack, load, and unload throughout the shift.
• Comfortable handling warehouse products and cartons.
• Safety boots are mandatory.
• Strong attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to arrive on time for a 7:30 AM start.
• Reliable and committed when accepting a scheduled shift.
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse/distribution environment.

Experience That Can Help:

Previous warehouse experience is an asset, but reliability and a strong work ethic are equally important for this on-call opportunity.

Understand the On-Call Schedule

This opportunity is designed for candidates who are comfortable with variable shift availability.

You may be scheduled for:

• 1 day
• 2 consecutive days
• 3 consecutive days
• X number of consecutive days

Most shifts are scheduled on weekdays.

Saturday shifts are very rare, but occasional Saturday availability may be required based on the client's needs.

Typical Shift:

7:30 AM SHARP - 3:30 PM / 5:00 PM

The end time can vary depending on the day's operational requirements.

Being able to arrive on time is extremely important. Candidates accepting a shift must be prepared to report to the workplace at the scheduled start time.
