LeadOn Staffing is hiring a Window & Door Assembler for a specialized manufacturer of high-security and custom architectural fenestration systems.
With more than 70 years of engineering expertise, our client supports institutional, correctional, psychiatric, behavioral health, and commercial construction projects.
This is an opportunity to work in a hands-on heavy fabrication and assembly environment, contributing to the production of specialized window and door systems designed for demanding architectural and high-security applications.

About the Work Environment
You will work in a dedicated manufacturing facility involved in:
- Structural engineering and fabrication
- Aluminum and steel-reinforcement cutting
- Window and door assembly
- Glazing and glass-related manufacturing activities
- Production of high-security architectural frames
The role involves hands-on work in a heavy fabrication and assembly environment. Candidates should be comfortable working on their feet, handling materials, following production instructions, and maintaining attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on production requirements, your responsibilities may include:
- Assembling window and door components according to production instructions.
- Working with window and door frames, hardware, and related components.
- Supporting the assembly of custom architectural and high-security systems.
- Handling materials and components safely during the assembly process.
- Following established assembly procedures and workplace safety requirements.
- Inspecting assembled components for visible defects and ensuring proper fit and finish.
- Maintaining an organized and clean workstation.
- Working collaboratively with production and fabrication team members.
- Supporting other related assembly tasks as assigned.
Note: Specific daily duties may vary based on production requirements, product type, and assigned work area.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience assembling windows and doors.
- Practical experience working with window or door components and assemblies.
- Ability to follow assembly instructions and production procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to start immediately, ideally within 1 day.
- Must meet the client's employment eligibility requirements and be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Important Experience Requirement
Window and door assembly experience is mandatory.
Candidates without relevant hands-on window and door assembly experience may not be considered for this position.
Schedule & Availability
- Monday–Thursday: 6:15 AM–4:00 PM
- Friday: 6:15 AM–12:00 PM
- Immediate start required: Within 1 day
Candidates must be comfortable with the early morning start time and able to reliably commute to the Etobicoke location.
