Counterbalance Forklift (Propane) Operator
Location: Appleby line & Fairview Street, Burlington, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Training Pay: $22.00/hour
Training: 7:30 AM- 3:30PM
Shift timing: 3:30 PM-12:30AM
Workplace: Warehouse & Distribution
Responsibilities:
- Safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift (Propane & electric) & Reach truck to move raw materials and finished products
- Loading and unloading trucks while protecting products from damage
- Transporting materials between warehouse, production, and designated storage areas
- Stacking and organizing materials safely in designated locations
- Performing daily pre-operation forklift inspections
- Reporting equipment defects, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards promptly
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Following all company health and safety policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift license - Mandatory
- 5+ years of hands-on Counterbalance Forklift experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Strong understanding of forklift and warehouse safety practices
- Good spatial awareness and material-handling skills
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs when required
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to safety and product handling
Important: The long-term schedule is the permanent night shift. Candidates must be comfortable working overnight hours.
