Key Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints, work orders, or cut sheets to determine assembly specs
• Cut, fit, and assemble door frames, panels, hinges, locksets, and hardware
• Operate saws, drills, presses, and other shop equipment
• Apply adhesives, weatherstripping, or sealants as required
• Inspect finished units for defects, alignment, and dimensional accuracy
• Perform quality checks against tolerances and specs
• Package and label finished doors for shipping
• Maintain a clean, safe work area; follow OSHA/safety protocols
• Report material shortages or equipment issues to supervisor
Requirements:
• High school diploma/GED (preferred, not always required)
• Prior manufacturing or assembly-line experience a plus
• Ability to read basic blueprints/measurements
• Comfortable with hand and power tools
• Physical ability to lift 30–50+ lbs, stand for full shifts, repetitive motion
• Attention to detail and quality standards
