Industrial Mechanic (Entry-Level)
Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay Rate: $23.00–$28.00/hour
Shift: Morning

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
This is an entry-level industrial maintenance position and does not require a licensed millwright.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
- Identify mechanical issues and perform basic troubleshooting and repairs.
- Perform general plumbing and routine maintenance tasks as required.
- Help maintain equipment in safe and reliable working condition.
- Operate a forklift occasionally, as needed.
- Work alongside the current mechanic to learn equipment maintenance procedures and daily responsibilities.
- Support general maintenance activities to help minimize equipment downtime.
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in industrial maintenance, mechanical technology, or a related trade is preferred.
- Equivalent hands-on mechanical experience will also be considered.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial maintenance.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and develop new technical skills.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Forklift experience or certification is an asset but not mandatory.
